hihi all... can't fall asleep as i intend cook miansian for my mum as her lunar birthday fall on sunday, so i intend to surpise her when she wake up. Olso to make breakfast for nissians. Feels great when my bro & sis can be eating food i prepare for them!
oh yah, i like to share this testimony with u all, especially to our new members, Evelyn, Wanting & Weisiong.
Last Sunday, together with rain & colin, we went to AMK for lunch before going to Cheshire Home(its a home for handicaps in serangon garden, we go every sunday.... interested, do let me know :> ) when we r eating wanton mee.... an old begger approached us for money & rain gave him some money. after that, i jus feel very disturbed abt helping him by giving money n we almost got into a quarrel. Then, Colin, who was fasting on that day suggested going over to preach. Courage dunno from where(God i believe!) arise and colin n i went over (rain came a while later) to look for the old begger. I took quite awhile praying & asking holy spirit to give me direction.... guys, its AMK central!!! lots of passerby will be staring at us... haha :) we went over to talk to him... i remember my first sentense is,"Uncle, i see u asking for money jus now, u need help?" all in mandarin of cos... must say that i speaks quite fluently then.. wrds jus comes into my mouth!! ;) Glory to the Lord
we told him we r christians n we like to share the joyful news of Jesus Christ with him n pray for him in tongue... On the spot he accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord & Saviour. recite prayers with us n promise us he will not commit sucide *He mentioned that he is old, poor, sick ,unemployed & intends to commit sucide.
*Colin did a great job here.. if he didn't suggest going over, likihood is... we won't dare to do watever we did... Similarily, rain did great too!
>To all young christians "Through Jesus Christ, things that sounds difficult & impossible became achievable!" took merely one hr but we managed to impact a complete stranger on the street. :)

i gave him my no. and the church no. this sunday we will do follow-up with him. i will try to read up the chinese bible so we can share more with him
Everyone do pray for us n th old man. pray that we have more courage n will say the rite thing! :)
