Subject : Guoyi's 21st special day
Hi guys,
Just in case U all not sure what this is about.. let me tell U guys. Me(Guoyi) is going to plan my OWN BIRTHDAY.. hahaha (got people plan their own birthday mah?) well.. this is an special situation for me.
1. It mark my adulthood 21stbirthday le.. (not every time have one) from boyz to men
2. All my friends and families will be there to celebrate with me
3. Most importantly, i using this birthday as a chance to share gospel with my secondary, primary, CCA(NPCC), relative and parents
4. honour my parents for their hard work on bringing me up
This is the biggest step of faith i have ever taken.. it full of uncertainty, fear and uneasiness. This idea was prompt by 1 of the funeral i went to, it was a non Christian funeral that i went to. My campus Crusade friend bow before his dead grandfather and he knew that was wrong but he still do that ( the pressure from his family was great). Our group of friend that went to visit break into group and pray for him. As we pray God lead us to pray for our own grandparent, we pray for God to lengthen our grandparent life so we could share Gospel with them. After 1 of the CCC leader suggest to us to use our 21st birthday to share Gospel with our Non-Christian friend.
Since then it had being 2 years already, God has keep His promise but not me.. i never take much time to spend with my Granparents..
Within this 2 years, i had witness more funeral then my 18 year as a youth. i believe God is telling me that time is almost up for my grandparents and i need to do something fast..
Faith without deeds is dead.. so often there so little breakthrough in my evangelism is because i did so little in sharing with other people the gospel. Maybe as what Pastor Song preached in the Parable of the lost son, Luke 15:28-30.. I am just like the older son living in the House of God but miss out what actually touches His heart and His longing. Does the older son really love His father? if the son really love his father he will welcome his brother back.
That what i am going to do.. To bring my brothers back to God. Putting my faith in Him!
To Sum up: Gospel to friends and family
So Why am i sending U this email.. Cause i need help.. As U all know that i am in army. I have diffcult in a lot of Area to plan for a birhday and send out invitation cards out to friends.
As i am very new in this evangelism gathering, i will need U guys to give me input.
1. Invitation card
-need 3 people to write addresss
-paste stamp on postcard
-buy postcard & stamp
-write words on card
2. SMS Operator
2 dear either brother or sister who has tons of SMS
-to recieve their reply whether they are coming for the birthday
-to answer their doubt or question
3. Food-in-charge
as my mum hurt her back, dun think she could cook much
- need help to prepare like half of the food?
- rest will be BBQ stuff
- 3-4 bro or sis
4. IT personal
1 person good in IT
-to maintian a group for easy exchange of idea
-communication
5. Prayer warrior
All of U all!
- for guidance and suggestion
- for proctection of the whole event
- for faith
